My sisters and me were rescued from a local shelter when we were just 3 weeks old. We re a funny looking group super thin and long-legged kinda like feline greyhounds. Our foster mom kept trying to fatten us up by feeding us and feeding us and giving us worm medicine (thinking maybe we had worms and that s why we didn t gain weight). She just didn t understand that we re naturally lean kittens. I think she wishes she was thin like us. Not a chance.I m the beautiful tortoiseshell of the group. I really like people and when my foster mom comes to see Irene and me I have this real neat thing I do to get her attention I get behind her and tap tap tap her back with my paw. She always turns around (works every time ) and looks surprised to find me there and then she picks me up and gives me a kiss. My other neat attention-getting ploy is jumping on the window ledge so that I m about at eye level -- this way she can t miss me.I m especially close to my sister Irene.
