Meet 2 doggies who have come from the dark end of the street and are on their way to the bright side of the road - Missy and Buster. Missy is the tan girl and buster is the darker boy They are 2 incredibly precious pups who are very smart gentle and are eager to please. They get along well with both cats and other dogs.Missy and Buster had been dropped off in the overnight bin at the Madera Animal rescue shelter emaciated flea and tick ridden and despondent. Shelter workers did not think they would make it and called on some animal rescue heroes to help. We thought there was nothing sadder than 2 starved abandoned pups covered in parasites and we brought them home to rehab and fatten them up.However 2 days after we got them we discovered that they had Parvo. We arranged with our local veterinarian to do daily IV fluids and meds to keep them hydrated and all the antibiotics they needed. After 2 weeks they had lost even more weight but they and their little canine spirits had survived....
