Please contact April (----XX(at)---) for more information about this pet.Hiddles is a real charmer He s sweet and calm and loves spending time with his human even if it s just sitting at your feet while you work. His charming nature and ginger fur is how he got his name (named for the actor Tom Hiddleston Marvel s Loki) He was abandoned as an adult when his previous owners were foreclosed upon. The transition from being someone s pet to being left outside in a colony surrounded by unfamiliar cats smells and places was particularly difficult and has left Hiddles distrustful of most other cats. He has bonded to a fellow colony cat and they share a segregated room together without incident and are often found curled up together in patches of sun. He is capable of positive interaction with other very passive kitties but he would understandably enjoy having all his humans attention to himself He isn t interested much in toys but he loves to be brushed and petted. He s a champ at doing lazy somersaults and is pretty low key. He would do best in a quieter household where his humans could spend plenty of cuddle time with him. He does not do well with dogs and as his threshold for stimuli is low he would only do well with older children that have a firm grasp of what acceptable interaction with a sensitive kitty looks like. He has tested FIV and will therefore need to be an indoor only kitty. He has been healthy since he became part of the colony and after being integrated into foster care to there is no reason to believe he will not remain so FIV kitties are perfectly capable of long healthy lives with no real difference in the day-to-day routine.
