Tipsy just graduated from a unique training program in which prisoners at a jail near the shelter train her for 10 weeks. Tipsy is described as the star pupil of the class picking up on commands very quickly. She is a quiet gal and would feel most comfortable in a quiet household. She is a stunning beauty with a glossy black coat. Tipsy says...Hi there everyone They call me Tipsy and they say that I m just most beautiful sweetest girl EVER Do you have room in your heart and home for a dog like me I have a gorgeous rich black coat that s super-soft great for petting me (hint hint) I weigh about 40 pounds...not too big so that makes me the perfect size for an apartment house or condo They say I am probably a lab shepherd mix all I know is that I m a happy girl and I love to play get lots of pets and give lots of doggie kisses Read below for more info on Tipsy and email --X(at)-------- ASAP if you are interested in her Tipsy says I don t know why but somehow I ended up in this scary shelter and I really need to get out of here The shelter says that I am of their absolute favorites and they really hope someone will step up to help me very SOON so that my life has a happy ending. I hear them say that it would be such a shame for a dog like me not to get adopted. Don t you think I would look really cute as your new Facebook cover photo romping around in the sunshine and rolling in the grass (or snow ) And how I d love to snuggle up by you while you sip a warm mug of cocoa as we snuggle and stay warm inside I just really want to run play then cuddle up nap and dream of all the adventures we ll have together. I would just LOVE trips to the dog park and hikes in the woods -- I love to discover new things Sweet Tipsy can be a little shy when she meets new people but then makes friends with everyone she meets At around 4-5 years old she is past the baby puppy phase (no all-night crying or bathroom breaks every 2 hours ) but like any dog still needs lots and lots of exercise to stay happy and healthy. Tipsy s new person or family will need to make sure she gets lots of socialization and playtime with other dogs and people to keep up the good social skills she has already And like all dogs we adopt out she ll need to go to obedience classes to build a strong bond with her people and help her become a well behaved companion or family member. Tipsy seems to love ALL the people she meets and can t wait to love her way into your heart and home. Like most young dogs Tipsy may need a refresher on her house training when she gets to a new home. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can continue to be a well-socialized dog The adoption fee for this dog is 350 which includes the cost of routine vetting including vaccinations and spay neuter surgery.
