Two Lovely House Cats

We have two short hair adult cats both about 6 years old that we adopted from a local shelter a few years ago (Andy is brown and white Apollo is gray). They came from the same home originally so we adopted both of them so they could stay together. They are both super friendly and have no vices (have never scratched at furniture and never any accidents outside the litter box). They are curious and playful but mostly love to cuddle on an empty lap. A little over a year ago we also acquired a young dog. Despite every attempt to make the cats comfortable and slowly introduce the new family member the acquaintance process has been unsuccessful. The cats need a dog-free home (or a home with quiet animal siblings). It s been over a year now and they have mostly isolated themselves to one room of the house and don t care to socialize like they used to. My hope is to find a new home for them as soon as possible.
