Meet our latest rescue Hitch . We named him Hitch because he hitched a ride from Mexico - yes he s legal )He comes from a woman in Mexico that spends all of her income pulling dogs from the streets of Mexico hoping for a better life for them in America. I saw him being networked and said I would take him into my rescue.Hitch is about 8 months old and is mostly a terrier mix. He has been around kids and appears to be fine with them but until we get him to the trainers for further evaluation we can t definitively say how he is around children. On the streets of Mexico he was around other dogs and LOVED to play with them. Our guess is he would do best in a home with other dogs or someone that is home a lot. We don t know that much about him since he was just brought to us on 3 3 16 but the people at the veterinarian office says he s wonderful. We spent a day taking pictures of him and he seemed to bond extremely fast.He is up to date on all his shots and has been checked for heartworm - came back negative. He is neutered and will be heading to the trainers on 3 8 16.
