UPDATE Eventually when given the opportunity to meet male doves Lychee & Logan split up and mated with formerly bonded males Adam & Steve. Lychee is now mated with Adam and because he is the jealous type they need to be the only doves in the home. Lychee is very sweet and willing to interact with people and Adam with patience and gentle care is willing to make friends. UPDATE Lychee & Logan are a mated pair. Lychee needs time to heal from a frightful past in which an unknown event occurred that led to her permanently missing a section of feathers from her head. She gets very nervous around people and is not used to stepping up on fingers (more comfortable being cradled by a hand) but is a very gentle sweet soul who will relax with lots of one-on-one time and patience. She was bred for her unique coloring and is very small delicate and sweet.Hello I m a very petite and shy little dove with a beautiful orange pearl coloration. I was injured and wound up scared and alone in an over-full animal shelter that doesn t help birds. I ve done my best to heal on my own but now that I m in the care of MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue I m getting help and feeling much better.
