Tulip - Female Rat Terrier Mix

Tulip is a 6 year old spayed female rat terrier cross. She really is beautiful and very elegant. Tulip had a hard start in life. She has glaucoma in one eye but it was not being cared for and when we got her out of the shelter it was touch and go if we could save it. But she is a fighter and we were able to get the infection out and pressure down. There is some damage to the eye and she does need drops daily but otherwise she is absolutely fine. Tulip is smart and can quickly learn anything. She loves her people fiercely and is loyal to the core. Tulip would love a secure fenced backyard or trips to the dog park or just taking a nice stroll with her person. But she is also quite content to lay at your side in the evening. Tulip would make an excellent family dog.Tulip is up to date on shots she is heart worm negative and is taking heart worm and flea preventative. The adoption fee is 150.
