Midnight - Female Percheron Mix

Midnight is an 12 year old black Percheron mare who stands around 17 hands that we purchased from auction. She is very good for the vet and farrier and has been used in our horse handling classes. Midnight can walk and trot. She can also go on trails alone or with a group. She is being used in lessons and is the typical draft personality. In the beginning when we started riding her we discovered that she had a lot of trouble breathing even at just a walk. After many visits from the vet we discovered her esophagus was too small to support her body size. She had surgery and now she is fine for light riding. Her trach has to be cleaned out once a day but besides that she is a very easy keeper.
