Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Mom and newborn pups were rescued by Red Lake Rosie s right after the pups were born on November 27 just in time to get in from the cold. Mom and pups have been in foster care ever since. Mom is a medium sized wire-haired mixed breed terrier Kora also available for adoption. While we don t know how big these pups will be when they are full grown our best guess is between 30 and 50 pounds. The ideal home for such a young pup will have the time and commitment to attend formal obedience have patience to work on housetraining and opportunities for daily introductions to people of all ages dogs of all sizes and exposure to different sights and sounds. This is a key component to helping cute cuddly pup become a well socialized balanced adult dog. At this age puppies have very sharp teeth and will nibble and chew on everything generally it is best that they are in homes with children over the age of 5.
