Lissa is a beautiful 10 year old 15.1 HH Quarterhorse Paint mare. She was rescued 8 years ago in conjunction with a CAS rescue but is NOT a resident at the sanctuary. Her rescuer has put a lot of time training and love into Lissa and wants to find her a forever home in a safe nurturing environment. Her owner is no longer able to care for her and wishes to place her with a knowledgeable horse person for long term bonding.She is professionally schooled in walk-trot discipline and has excellent ground manners. Just back to riding a skilled non aggressive gentle rider-trainer can bring her potential out quickly. Lissa has a strong personality is curious and alert. Needs a stall plus pasture turnout with a mild easygoing companion. She has lots of potential for many years of enjoyment.
