Hazlenut - Female Thoroughbred

Hazelnut is a light chestnut Thoroughbred mare approximately 15HH and 16 y o. She arrived from a Saratoga County starvation situation in February 2007. She is sound for riding and currently barefoot but may need front shoes if ridden consistently on hard surfaces. She is friendly and sweet not spooky at all and eager to please. She stands well for vet and farrier. Hazelnut gets along well in our herd of mares. She is sound for riding and suitable for intermediate to advanced riders. She currently is being fostered nearby our property and can be visited by appointment.
