This is Sammy (HWTH 15513A). He is a Pit mix DOB 2 14 14. Sammy weighs approximately 45-50 pounds and stands 19 inches at the shoulders. This boy was found in Rosamond California and is now being fostered by a volunteer with Halfway to Home. Sammy is a little on the shy side but shows no signs of aggression. He warms up to women faster than men but is a loving boy once he is acquainted with you. Sammy is an active kind of guy and will need to have some sort of daily exercise to keep him fit and out of mischief. Lots of love playtime and good-quality human companionship will be a must. When Sammy has thoroughly settled into his new Forever home he will benefit from positive basic obedience training for leash training and the bonding process. Once Sammy has bonded to his new owner he will be an amazingly loyal canine companion. Sammy now resides with 14 other dogs of various ages and sizes with no problems and knows how to use a doggy door. He is also crate trained.
