Spike - Male German Shepherd Dog Mix

Spike is a 3-4 year old German Shepherd. He has had a tough life - his owner killed his wife and attempted to kill himself. Spike was then put in a rural pound that was extremely crowded. He bonds with people right away and loves to be petted and loved. Spike is house trained and leash trained. He will walk next to you and put his head in your hand to be petted. We think he probably should not go into a home with an alpha male. Adoption Events We just completed a successful transport to Colorado Feb. 26th and are planning our next transport April 1st.
