SHELTER ID 16D-0099ENERGY LEVEL MODERATE---HANDLER NOVICE---GROOMING LOW Xander is 8 months old- he came to us when his family moved and cannot have dogs in the new house. Xander had a hard time settling into our shelter when he came in and we kept him for a prolonged period of time in quarantine to give him time to settle in. Xander needs to be in a home where young children are not co-existing with him they tend to make him nervous and he will snip or bite. Other than that Xander is great with other dogs cats and adores human companionship. He takes a minute to warm up and make sure you mean no harm however once he is ready to give you his all- it is his all. Xander loves to give kisses and seems to be accustomed to being toted around and carried. He keeps his kennel clean and was accustomed to being an inside house dog. He is far too cute to be anything but an inside boy and combined with the fact that he adores being with people he is destined for lap dog life.
