Petey is one of 4 miniature horses that was rescued from bad conditions in a small rural county in North Carolina. All the horses suffered from neglect and malnutrition. Each of the four are in different stages of recovery but Petey is ready for adoption He is the baby of Freeda and is quite a character He is curious about everything and frankly thinks he is a big horse. He d rather be in the pasture with the big kids than anything else. Petey does have a deformed back leg. We are not sure if he was born that way or if it was broken. It is now fused together and will remain that way. It doesn t bother him or deter him in anyway at all. He runs with the rest of the crowd like a champ. We suspect Petey is about a year old and he will need to be gelded. He cannot be used to pull carts or ride children but he is a great companion for other equines... More Info
