UPDATE 5 6 15 Freddie needs a small gentle flock. She s got mobility issues (stiff sore legs suspected arthritis) is timid and has a very jealous mate.UPDATE Freddie has married the widower Freckles and they are now available only has a mated pair. Freddie does t like to be handled and will do best either as an aviary bird or with someone who s willing to love her from afar.Fred is a rare bird- she is a single female Our pigeon hens usually get mated up quick (and we do have some bachelors fostered that would love to meet Fred) so don t delay if you re looking to adopt a single King pigeon hen. Fred is young approximately 9 months old. She was rescued after a predator attack and she had a wing boil that was suggestive of paratyphoid. She has a slight limp but has otherwise recovered completely. She is sweet and personable around other birds but is terrified of human handling.
