COURTESY POST Mistletoe is a small Pit mix...about three years old fifty pounds fully vaccinated house crate trained who loves other dogs and cats. She is very smart lovable and a huge cuddle bug. She loves to play with toys go for car rides and take naps. Mistletoe was found on the street in December. She was starved and weak and full of milk from nursing puppies. Her poor little mammary glands were infected and one even ruptured...poor baby. She tested positive for heartworms and the community pulled together to pay for her treatment....amazing. The shelter held her as long as they could and decided her time was up. A wonderful rescue group stepped in at the last minute and saved Mistletoe. She is currently in foster care and thriving today with a loving family. She has completed her heartworm treatment and is now ready for a forever home. Please note that we do not recommend Mistletoe to families with children under 5. We are a RESCUE GROUP not a shelter and all of our animals are in foster homes.
