Sarah is a sweet 1.5 year old Yellow Lab. She was turned in to a shelter by an unkind owner then adopted but returned because she has heart worm disease. Sarah is a timid girl which will be overcome in time. Her foster family will teach her how to trust humans and become the wonderful dog we know she can be. Sarah will undergo heart worm treatment before she leaves for her trip North. Sarah is currently being fostered in Houston Texas and will travel to Lake Placid NY at the end of April beginning of May. PLEASE NOTE You must live within 250 miles of Lake Placid NY 12946 and travel to us to meet your new dog or puppy we do not adopt outside of the 250 mile radius. You must be at least 23 years old to adopt. You have to fill out an adoption application before we can discuss any of our dogs or puppies with you so we know as much about you as possible. Almost all of our dogs and puppies have pre-approved adopters when they arrive so apply as soon as possible. The application is at -X ----X.- adoption-formSince we are a Rescue located many states away from where the dog originates we know nothing more about the dog than is stated in the above description. We arrange to have every dog vaccinated spayed neutered treated for any condition they may have and IF they have heart worm it is treated at the Vet near the shelter of origin. Our dogs and puppies are either in foster care or at a boarding boarding facility for their mandatory 21 day quarantine period longer if they are receiving heart worm treatment.
