Preference given to approved adopters who request and submit an electronic application ahead of time Tiny Adele found herself in a very loud scary shelter and she has no idea how she ended up there. She is only about 12 months old and is the sweetest little girl Adele had to have been someone s beloved pet at some point because she is housebroken and super cuddly. She is also very timid when in new environments but since she has been in her foster home she has really warmed up and is happy and snuggly with her foster mom. She tends to bond with her primary caretaker and can be a little indifferent to others in the home.Adele was super skinny when we rescued her and had some awful parasites we are working on clearing out of her tiny system so she is working on gaining weight while she gains trust and confidence also. She will be spayed prior to adoption as well as microchipped and she is currently fully vaccinated and dewormed as well as on flea tick prevention. Adele will be ready to go to her forever home around the end of April - beginning of May 2016.Adele is not destructive when left alone so she has outgrown her puppy stage. She also has not shown us the typical hyper JRT behaviors yet so she may be an unusually calm terrier. Her favorite activity is being carried around in a dog sling snuggled up close while her foster mom works around the house Adele weighs about 12 lbs and has a few more to gain but we don t expect her to get much above 15 lbs. She has not been cat tested so we cannot guarantee a home with cats would be safe as most JRTs are not good with cats. She gets along great with other dogs that are bigger than her but isn t as fond of dogs smaller than her. Due to her small size we are recommending a home without small children for this baby.
