This cat has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV causes cats to be less able to fight off infection but with good care many FIV cats can live their normal lifespanss. Preventive care is especially important regular veterinary visits good dental care and a non raw food diet. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats and therefore they should only live indoors and with other FIV cats or be a single cat.
