Boogaloo is sweet gentle soft and playful enjoys meeting new people and loves to cuddle. She s an active outgoing happy 3 year old everything a person could want in a kitty. And she s beautiful her lovely silver fur glows as she darts around or nestles with you on a sofa. She ll greet you in the morning ready to run and chase her toys. She s full of energy and races around then by midmorning she s ready to curl up in her favorite chair with a blankie and her toy mouse be petted and have a conversation. She s smart and has opinions on everything a small cat with a big personality Boogaloo would like lots of space to race around play and explore in her new home and would also love a companion kitty. She tried to make friends with the elderly female cat in her foster home but was rebuffed. She was sad to be hissed at and would enjoy a real playmate. She likes Fancy Feast especially Gravy Lovers chicken and turkey and has free access to Hill s Science Diet Optimal Care kibble. She doesn t like little kitty dishes but prefers her water from a large bowl and her wet food on a small plate Beautiful Boogaloo was part of a large litter of 6-month old kittens abandoned in a DC alley in the fall of 2012. All the others were black They were all so friendly they got into the neighbor s laps as they sat on their porches and interfered with outdoor parties People called Animal Control who in turn called 4Paws to find them all homes and we did. But the neighbors kept Boogaloo there and would not let us adopt her out. As fate would have it this winter Boogaloo got an eye injury. Then people realized they needed to relinquish her so she could have the vet care she needed and stay safely inside as a beloved member of a responsible loving family. So Boogaloo finally came to 4Paws and received the excellent care she needed from a veterinary ophthalmologist and a great foster home.
