She came into rescue over a month ago with her four babies and now she is ready to find a home of her own. She has silky black and white fur and giant piercing yellow eyes. Duchess is about two years old and full grown at a mere seven pounds. This tiny little thing is fully litter box trained. She is also good with other cats and dogs when given time to warm up and she has no issues at all with kids of all ages. Duchess will hop up on the couch and snuggle in your lap at any time she loves to be held and smothered with love. Her favorite place to be scratched is her belly and right above her tail and she would cuddle all day long if given the chance. She likes to stay close to her foster parents and will often follow them room to room she likes to keep an eye on things. She doesn t scratch at furniture as long as you have a place for her to scratch elsewhere like a kitty condo or cardboard scratch pad. She isn t very vocal but she can purr pretty loudly when she s getting love from her foster mom. She currently gets free fed but gets an extra treat at dinner time that she looks forward to- she sits patiently at her bowl and waits for it every evening. Duchess is a very playful young cat sometimes it s hard to tell she s the mom when she is with her little ones. She will get right in the action and play with them but she also knows when she should step back and rest. Her favorite toys are anything with feathers she loves to chase them around when her foster mom swings them through the air. Duchess would make the perfect addition to any home- she is the perfect mix of sweet cuddly and playful. She can keep herself occupied with toys and lounging but also loves to have the attention and scratches from anyone near.
