Once Lionel swings into D.C. he would love a foster or forever home to come to Has Lived with dogs Special Adoption Considerations young dog will need regular exercise Lionel is a sweet-as-pie 8 month old labrador mix who weighs a wiggly happy 35 lbs. He is SO ready to serenade his way into your heart once he gets to the D.C. metro area At only 8 months old he still needs to learn manners tricks and house-training but he would love to go to obedience school Not only will it help you bond but then he can impress you with all the great skills you ll be able to work on together. As a young and active dog Lionel will need an adopter who is prepared to exercise him throughout the day. He will need socialization so that he grows up into a friendly and well-adjusted canine so trips to the dog park would be perfect for him. Do you have some room in your heart and home for a sweetheart like Lionel Like most shelter dogs Lionel may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
