Hi My name is Lucy I am your typical 10 month old puppy I love anything I can chew on but don t worry I will not make a snack out of things laying around the house...unless it squeaks. Then I can t make any promises I am not a purebred GSD but what I lack in pointy ears I make up for in loyalty and kisses My absolute favorite spot is wherever my foster mom is. I am pretty good about finding a spot to lay down without getting in the way. I really just love my people. I really like the little human my foster family has. She s seven years old and she s a sucker for my sweet puppy dog eyes. I can normally get a good five minute belly rub out of her which is heavenly. Did I mention I like belly rubs I get along with other dogs large and small too Oh yeah in case you didn t notice I only have three legs. The awesome volunteers with SGSR s Phoenix Dog Program call me a terrific tripawd . On Christmas day I jumped from my previous owner s vehicle and got banged up pretty bad. The doctors tried to fix my broken bones but after all was said and done everyone decided removing my leg was in my best interests. But what I lack in limbs I make up for with my charming personality. Trust me you won t even notice that I have 3 legs. I often forget that I m missing a leg until it s time to walk on slick surfaces. But I m sure I ll master those types of floors...I ve only been an amputee for a few weeks. Back to the good stuff me You won t find a better dog I mean yeah sure there are lots of adorable puppies with razor sharp teeth and no manners if you re into that kind of stuff. But I am crate trained I have only had one accident in the house and I LOVE to snuggle. If you are an approved adopter you can ask your adoption coordinator to set up a meet and greet with me.
