Astrid is an approximately 1 1 2 to 2 year old female leopard gecko who arrived with moderate-to-severe MBD (metabolic done disease) which had caused a softened jaw irregular arm position and occasional tremors. While Astrid will never be normal with a strict calcium regime she has made tremendous progress and is ready to find her forever home.Given her weakened bone structure we prefer Astrid to go to a home without small children who may accidentally harm her. She also needs a dedicated owner willing to keep up with her liquid calci-blast dosing (every other day to every third day) and who doesn t mind tong feeding (she happily snatches bugs from tongs). Astrid can be a little sassy about being picked up but calms down quickly and is happy to explore when out of her enclosure.... More Info
