The popularity of our Havatons has grown immensely. They have a striking pure breed registered Havanese parent as well as an imported pure breed registered white Coton de Tulear parent. Given their parents pure bred registered status these pups are eligible for certification with the ACHC. The Havanese and the Coton de Tulear stem from the same roots (the Bichon family) and mimic each other in size stature personality playfulness obedience training etc. The Havanese often adds color to the mixture as most generally Cotons are white.All of our babies are litterbox trained using the Purina 2nd Nature Litter and Litterbox system before leaving us. Just food for thought . I grew up in a home where we always had female dogs in the home - never a male. After reading many many breed books it has been said over and over that the males are really the more devoted companions....
