Found Carriage Rd. near Deleware brought to shelter Sat. April.2 2016This dog was in such poor shape that we took him to our veterinarian the same morning he was picked up Sat. April.2 2016. Bruno had been wandering on Carriage Rd. near Delaware for several days before we brought him to our shelter. Sad to say he tested positive for Heartworm. He also is severely infested with tape worm several ticks were taken from his body. He has a very wide wound where fur is missing and where there are open sores in a wide band around the back of his ears and neck area the result of being chained for long periods of time probably most of his young life. We think he is around three to 5yrs old and only weighs 27 kg. much to thin for his large frame. If someone owns or recognizes this dog please let us know. The owner of this dog could be charged with cruelty and neglect by the O.S.P.C.A. No animal should have been left in this condition ...
