The fire in the woods flashed over the wooden fence and crackled to the dog kennel where all but 2 of a litter of three month old Labrador mixes were napping after their puppy play. Their foster heard their screams before seeing the flames and she and her husband ran to the kennels and found horror. In their attempt to escape 2 of the pups had tried to climb over the kennel s fence instead they were caught in the chain link easy targets for the flames. Their foster ran into the kennels and started handing the pups over the kennel fence to her husband. And it was over or was it The smothered fire left in its wake 2 badly burned pups Alexa and Annie. Ariel was also burned but not as severely. 1 of their brothers died in the fire and they never found the other. And so we introduce our three sister survivors as well as their sister Aubrey and brother Alexander both in a different kennel with their mama dog at the time of the fire....
