Hi my name is Mabel. I am a six month old large mixed breed pup who is lucky I became homeless. An addict bought me on a whim and then when he realized he couldn t keep me gave me to his very ill mother who was equally unable to take care of me. Thankfully she asked HAL to take me in. Even though I am still a puppy I am a very well behaved dog. I have grown out of the chewing stage now so I can be left safely at home alone without you coming home to chewed shoes. It is anyone s guess what breeds I am. My foster mom says that every time she looks at me she sees something different. I may have some Ridgeback in me and perhaps some German Shepherd. But more than anything my long legs impossibly large ears slim build and big brown eyes make me look like very much like a deer....
