This is Cass he is a blue & gold macaw is presumed male and we believe he is in his late teens early 20 s. He is male preferential and will NOT be adopted out to a female. Cass is a little on the smaller macaw size however has a little heart of gold. He is a lovable companion and would hangout on your shoulder all day if you let him he is a definite shoulder bird. He steps up says hello while showing you his wings will give kisses and loves to dance. We refer to him as special needs because he came to us with a scissor beak. It is not a serious condition however will require a visit to the veterinarian every couple months to have it dremmeled. Overall he is in nice feather however has a tendency to chew off his tail feathers. In a previous home he was caged in a small cage to where he couldn t fully tune around without it getting caught so he resorted to chewing it off. Despite him having a large cage it is a habit that he refuses to break....
