Adorable Harper is a 2yr old 25lb pup who came to us from a rural home that had way too many dogs. She has a cute scruffy face and a short easy care grey coat that is slightly wiry. She is certainly a breed unique to herself.She came to us a frightened timid girl with pups (now 3 mons old) and she is gaining confidence daily but will still need a new owner who is experienced with shy rescue dogs. It is clear that she is feeling so much happier and is ready to continue to progress. She might enjoy a little dog in her new home to help her to gain confidence.She has bonded with staff members and appreciates any kindnesses she is offered. She shyly sought out affection from the beginning.Harper is playful with other dogs and also enjoys playing with toys something she probably did not have in her prior life. She is very treat motivated and this helps her to understand that new strangers are kind. She will sit on command and does want to do the right thing....
