The story of REASON One morning several weeks ago our rescue was tagged in a post about a desperate pitbull needing immediate emergency rescue. After going through our normal process we agreed to help her the moment we laid eyes on her picture. This sweet girl looked to be skin and bones with not much hope unless intervention was done immediately and because of our known reputation as a non discriminatory helping all animals in need reputation we thankfully managed to have her transported to us within several hours. Upon arrival words cannot describe the pain I felt inside of my heart when this emaciated thin tan furball who was nothing more than a bag of bones jumped from the car to us wagging her tail as if she knew her life was about to change. We had food waiting for her outside and water which she ran to and slowly began to eat after using the bathroom numerous times. She kept wagging her tail and started to trust my daughter and husband within moments of arriving....
