She s SissyBear While I m not a big fan of her name in that self-fulfilling prophecy kind of way it is her name. Let s take some time to get to know Ms. SissyBear because you have to understand where she was to appreciate how far she has come.SissyBear came to Big Fluffy from Ohio. She had a litter of pups and hid them in a tree stump. Sadly a huge thunderstorm rolled through and only 1 pup survived. Her pup was successfully adopted out by an Ohio rescue and SissyBear came to us a shell of a dog. She wouldn t eat. She wouldn t take treats. She didn t seek out attention. She had zero interest in life around her. A trip outside was a death threat and she alligator rolled on a leash. She was beaten down and needed to be filled up to live again. She spent six months being fostered in the Nashville area learning that humans are kind good and we have some pretty tasty treats too ...
