Mr. Firkis is an approx 13yrs old male Eclectus with plucking issues. He came into foster care with a female named CoCo. Although CoCo is only 9yrs old. They have been separated and are each doing better apart. Mr. Firkis seems to do better with men than females. He does not seem to care for young children. Mr. Firkis was very protective of CoCo when she was trying to nest and now that she is in another room he has settled down nicely and more open to personal interaction from my husband. He prefers to wonder around the house on the floor. Due to the feather damage he can t fly . He is an amazing eater Seed mixture natural pellets Only ( Eclectus can t eat the colored kind) and almost anything fresh you offer him. He is really a eating machine ) We are looking for a home that can allow him his needed freedom has a strong male figure to work with him and doesn t have little children....
