Meet Ruthie Ruthie is approx 5-7 yrs old is very healthy and is an wonderful sweetheart This girl spent a year and a half in a shelter but because she was slightly older she was simply passed by. The shelter staff loved her and believed in her and felt she deserved to stay in a foster home so she came into the Yolo County SPCA foster program Ruthie is nearly the perfect dog--she is quiet she is low energy she is affectionate--a general all around couch potato. That said she ll instantly hop off that couch for a walk if you have a leash in your hand She loves her people and is more than content settling down nearby while you work. She is just about the most easy going dog we ve met Her only downfall is her love for food which has led to her current weight (we re working on it ) as well as her desire not to share food with other dogs. For that reason we are looking for a home without dogs....
