Service Technician Job Description Mission We are looking for an experienced Service Technician. This is a very important part of the after sales service offered by our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the territory and increasing the service sales profile. A self-starter able to demonstrate good customer relations and the technical and sales skills required for servicing the local customers machine-based. Experience Requirements Certification in one of the following areas Mechanic Air Conditioning Refrigeration Electrician Diesel Mechanic or Millwright. 3-5 years of experience in servicing compressed air equipment would be a definite asset. Screw Compressors would be a asset combined with electrical experience. Knowledge Educational Requirements Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge or equivalent experience. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant Journeyman Certificate. Good computer skills - Lotus notes knowledge would be an asset. Bilingual (French & English spoken and written). Training in the above areas will be offered internally. Personality requirements Self-starter able to demonstrate good customer relations and the technical and sales skills required for servicing the local customers machine-based. Possess a valid Driver s license. Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time. Ambition and the motivation to succeed and meet the set goals. Good people skills and a strong sense of urgency.
