April (formerly Daisy) was surrendered to the shelter by an owner who said he she didn t want her. We were told Daisy April is 1yr old housetrained and nice with kids. She weighs 42lbs and has been nice with dogs at the shelter. She is a bit frightened in her kennel and does not show well there so it is best to visit with her outside where you can admire all her cute qualities.One of our adorable volunteers spent time with April and told us that she is very shy and timid. It takes time for her to to trust yhou but once she gets outside she is more at ease. Though she is shy she is also curious about other dogs sounds and smells. She has a thick coat that will require brushing.The Jefferson Parish Animal rescue shelter adoption charge is 67.
