April 2016 update Katie is just over 1yr old and is a good medium size. Her mom is a yellow labrador and dad is unknown. Katie was adopted but her nervousness around the family s young daughter and husband were too much. She is back with her former foster family now and doing good after some initial nerves. Katie is going to need a very patient family most likely with another tolerant dog to help her along the way. She has some energy but really enjoys relaxing on the couch or laying on the deck in the sun once she is tired out. She gets very excited with cats and sometimes needs to be distracted to give them space. She has met a few babies and toddlers and has done well with them but because of her shyness we would recommend older children only or an fullgrown-only home. Katie is housetrained and crate trained and loves to go into her crate but does bark for a short while before settling down for the night. Katie loves to eat and is very food motivated....
