Adopt Meadow a BrownChocolate - with White Rhodesian Ridgeback

Hi everyone my name is Meadow When you come in to see me I may or may not come up the front of the cage to greet you. The reason being is that I m very unsure of new people and it takes me awhile to start warming up to you. In fact once you get me out of my kennel I ll come up and lick your hands a few times and allow you to pet me for a few seconds before I walk off. So you re just going to have to be really patient with me and give me the time I need in order to warm up to you and my new environment. Until I do get used to my environment I tend to pace around from room to room a lot so you ll just have to keep talking to me and even give me a treat here and there to help ensure me that I m safe. Speaking of treats I make sure that I m very gentle when taking them and will even do the sit and shake paw command. However when you reach to take my paw I ll pull it back because I don t like people touching my paws....
