We feel that Blaze would also do well with gentle older kids who enjoy the fun and companionship that a cute dog brings to a family. We d like only older kids in Blaze s family not because he doesn t enjoy young kids...he really does - but because we want to make certain he s handled gently and respectfully. Blaze at about 30 - 35lbs (the perfect size to love hiking and very portable to take anywhere a good dog is welcome.) and nine - 12 mons old has the perfect amount of energy for his age. Blaze loves playing and is entertaining in his silly antics young energy and the huge love he wants to show. Blaze s story is all too common - a guardian who can no longer care for her dog and hasn t made any arrangements for his care.
