Joy is a 4yr old Persian domestic longhaired mixture. Joy is a calm and affectionate kitty. The application screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday and then it may take 2 or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).Our adoption charge is currently 70 for non-residents and 75 for residents .The adoption payment includes spaying neutering vaccinations (appropriate to species and age) heart worm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age) de-worming medication micro chip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)There is a 5 Pet License fee added to the adoption payment if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown....
