The sweetest little three-week old calico kitten was found without littermates and without a mother. She was so wonderful her foster mom called her Chiclet. She was bottle-raised with other kittens so that she would grow up with proper cat etiquette and learn wrong and right from other kittens.Unfortunately this is not a story about an cute kitten finding it s forever home. It s a story about a kitten who did not get adopted due to no fault of her own just an abundance of other kittens and circumstances not in any ones control.Kittens grow fast and as time went by Chiclet became visibly stressed when she was put on display in a cage for Petsmart adoption events. Some cats never adjust to this who could blame them ....strangers sticking their fingers inside the cages barking dogs all around them no way to get away just complete exposure. After a couple months of this weekly traumatic experience Chiclet cowered shook panted and kept all her muscles tense the whole time when she was at Petsmart....
