As crazy as this might sound these lovable little puppy s mom is a JRT who at the time we got her weighed 17lbs. We think she should be more like 19lbs. As far as dad goes...your guess is as nice as ours but by the looks and size we are thinking a Shepherd mixture was dad. Mom was taken to the shelter along with the pups because she was dying from a horrible infection in her uterus. The owner didn t want to deal with it The volunteer that was there RUSHED mom to the veterinarian called us and she had life saving surgery. The pups were estimated to be five weeks old when we got them which will make them 9.5 weeks old when they are fixed and ready for adoption.The pups and mom were loaded with worms so we suspect with mom s infection the worms and how skinny mom was they were probably outside dogs.The pups have been started on learning potty outside. THEY ARE NOT HOUSE BROKEN but do understand the concept. They are fine with children get along with all dogs they have met but have never seen a cat....
