She looks larger in her pictures than she really is but that could be her huge heart shining through She is calm and submissive around people even a little timid and fearful with loud noises and sudden movements. She has played well with her new doggie friends and has done well on a leash. She seems to be opening up to us a little more each day. Most dogs at the shelter have a story of how they ended up here but we rarely know what that story is. In Simone s case we know that she was seen riding in a car at the river and then she was found alone at the river. Just like that out for a ride and then abandoned. She isn t thinking about that now though she is much too busy learning about love and trust and getting good food into her scrawny body. Soon she will have her own forever home just like that.
