Harry is available for adoption as a bonded incredibly well-behaved pair with his brother Burt. We will consider adopting them out separately but we really would love to see them stick together Both boys were living out on the Pajarito Mesa with their human. 1 of our foster volunteers came across this neighborhood colony of dogs and SWARF sponsored spay and neuter and gave food donations to this neighborhood for many dogs for many months. After a visit to the area the weekend before Thanksgiving of 2015 our volunteer saw that Harry had become VERY ill. SWARF rushed Harry to the veterinarian. He was suffering from an incredibly far along tick-borne disease called Ehrliciosis. Treatment started immediately and after much needed TLC Harry is back to as good as new ...
