Adopt Zooky a Domestic Shorthair Mixed (short coat) cat in O Fa

Zooky This poor girl has been returned to Heartland twice. Adopted as a wee baby with her sister and returned 5yrs later due to a divorce. Adopted out once again and returned 3 yrs later due to the health issues of her owners. I was shocked and quite angry when I picked her up from our veterinarian. She was about 8lbs when adopted out and well over twenty pounds 3 years later. To say this is unhealthy is an understatement it is abuse. Obviously she is on a diet but you have to be very careful when helping a kitty lose weight they can go into liver failure if it goes too quickly. She is on grain free food and it is measured out every morning and she honestly does not finish her ration each day. What the heck they were feeding her I cannot imagine. She was pretty freaked out the 1st week but settled in and while still unhappy about seeing other kitties (she is separate from them) she cannot get enough attention from me....
