Hello My name is Rosie and I am a very attractive Umbrella Cockatoo in perfect feather condition. I came into the Rescue because my owner passed away. I am about 12yrs old and the vet told me that I am actually a male.I am a nice eater and I take foods from your hand very gently. I am on a healthy diet of Zupreem pellets and I love fruits and veggies especially bananas carrots and broccoli.I make extra adorable squeaks and squawks but I haven t said any words yet. I don t like to make a lot of noise and I am still getting used to my foster family. I would imagine that once I do get more comfortable I will probably be like a typical cockatoo in the noise department which will make me unsuitable for apartment or condo living. I am very shy but I am warming up to my foster mom and dad. I don t mind my foster brothers and sister that include another cockatoo and 2 dogs. Even the horses outside the window don t scare me I used to live on a lanai and I love looking out the window....
