My name is Mona and although my story is a sad one it has a happy ending I was surrendered by my previous owner at an animal control facility in Los Angeles. I completely shut down in the shelter and was so traumatized from being abandoned that I just curled up in a ball in the corner. I was profoundly depressed and very sad.Fortunately I was rescued by labsandfriends.org and went to a home where I could spend some time and reflect on my new situation. I am a shy and sensitive girl. It took me a couple of weeks to recover from the trauma of the shelter but I am now happy and healthy and ready for my forever home I am very friendly and precious. I like to tunnel under a blanket. I am a sensitive soul so I need a peaceful indoor only home.
