Some people like their dogs no bigger than a loaf of bread and other people like dogs with heads as big as basketballs who require their own couch. Two Year old Cooper definitely falls into the second category. At the shelter Cooper doesn t make a fuss about getting out of his kennel to go outside he is friendly and waits patiently while you snap the leash on his harness. He is learning come and sit. Cooper is clearly a people dog --when he was recently visited by a large family group he preferred hanging out with the people in our Meet & Greet room rather than wandering off on his own to the yard even though the door to the yard was wide open. As with any dog to be successful in his new home Cooper needs someone who will give attention to his training and manners but it won t take much and will be completely worth it to help this attractive diamond in the ruff become a priceless gem....
